Kate joined her comrades in the Hesketh James team in 2018 where she thrived off working in a relaxed, informal and genuinely passionate company created to help clients find the best people for their roles, offering support, advice and an open and honest working relationship. She is a true hospitality guru through and through - spending her earlier working career in the hospitality industry, managing bars and restaurants as well as boutique hotels and gastro pubs up to Area Manager level. She then moved into the recruitment sector in 2014 and has an in depth understanding of hospitality businesses.
Her down to earth, honest and genuine approach is driven from her own industry experience and she will go the extra mile to help and advise clients as best as she can. She has a natural flair with candidates and thoroughly enjoys helping and guiding them through the process. In many recruitment companies the focus is all about immediate sales targets, whereas Kate and the team at Hesketh James dislike this corporate regimented approach. They enjoy the building of long term relationships with clients where they can often become a valued addition to their team, offering a service that clients can trust and return to time and time again. Outside of work Kate loves spending time with friends, property development, learning new things and most of all enjoying her young family who are the light of her life.
