General Manager Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire Salary: £35,000 + Company Benefits Hours: 37.5 (9am-5pm) ** Please note: This is a hands-on position and to be considered, you must have strong hotel/accommodation, guest relations and budgeting/P&L management experience. You will be a hands-on, commercially driven all-rounder, with a good business/financial acumen. Due to the demands of the role and the remote location. You would need to drive and have a car/own transport for this role. This role would suit a Hotel AGM/DGM looking for their first General Manager appointment and a change of scenery from hotels  **

We’re looking for a highly personable and passionate General Manager for a stunning boutique self-catering accommodation resort in the Richmond area of the Yorkshire Dales. Whether it’s for a relaxing getaway or an outdoorsy break in the countryside - this operation is hugely popular for its quality accommodation and first-class friendly customer service. As the face of the business, you will possess great knowledge of the local area and with it being a premium offering, we are looking for an experienced manager with a great attention to detail (no room for error) and a strong passion for providing a high quality, welcoming and unforgettable guest experience. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a driver. Required Experience:

Solid hotel/accommodation management experience with a good knowledge of the local area. Strong financial and commercial knowledge – Profit & Loss (GPs, revenue, quality control) and the impact it has on the business A great personality and welcoming presence with a strong passion for providing friendly and quality guest service. A strong communicator with experience of working with a smaller team.
