Role: Wedding & Events Manager
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Harrogate / Leeds
We're recruiting for a Wedding & Events Manager to join an impressive Events company with a fantastic reputation and who operate within a range of fantastic venues. This role will be based at one of their Yorkshire sites with a key focus on weddings, alongside other events.
The role:
You will lead and manage a diverse team and deliver a wide range of Weddings & Events.
Ensure the highest standards of catering, event delivery and client satisfaction.
Daily and Monthly reporting alongside monthly forecasting
Manage and oversee all Event billing for customer invoicing
Work toward set KPI’s and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), meeting Company objectives
Communicate with other departments prior and during events, including Sales administration, Accounts, HR, Production Kitchen and Facilities.
Manage and motivate an operational team, as well as the Wedding and Event coordinator
Ensure adherence to all food safety and health and safety protocols
Provide and promote excellent customer service acting as an ambassador for the Company
Recruiting and training of the events team.
Support other event venues as and when needed.
The Candidate we are looking for:
You will have min. 3 years’ experience within Weddings and Event Management.
Be Financially aware with knowledge of P&L, catering budgets, margins, cost of sales.
Minimum level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications and knowledge (current certificates).
First aid at work qualification or willing to work towards
IOSH qualification or willing to work towards
Excellent communication skills in leading and developing teams
You will be Creative and flexible in your approach to your work.
You will need to be ambitious and self-motivated, able to work under pressure and manage your own time and workload
You will be a professional within hospitality with excellent customer service skills.
A full clean driving licence and own transport is essential.
